The Aftermath
A Call to Action
Somewhere in the last couple weeks—maybe even the last month—something shifted on social media. I’m mostly on Facebook (never jumped on Insta or X, but I’m sure the pattern is the same everywhere).
It’s not just more content. It’s more than just slop. AI-generated noise drowning everything real. The quality keeps getting better—scary better—and it’s now genuinely hard to tell what’s authentic, what’s manipulated, what’s even human.
Stupid videos, recycled takes, instant “expert” commentary on every event the second it hits the feed.
We’re wading through a sea of unguarded mediocrity, and the water is rising fast.
A couple months back I wrote “The Age of Resonant Reality”. Check it out if you are new to my work; very proud of it and it’s one of my more prescient pieces.
Holy shit people…it’s happening faster than even I thought it would at this point still early in 2026.
Time feels weird; like someone slammed the speed up and crazy lever together.
What does this look like in 6 months from now?
Hell, what does it look like 6 weeks from now?
I’m already feeling burdened and anxious just opening any platform. The sheer volume of garbage you have to sift through to find one real story, one honest opinion, one human moment—it’s exhausting.
Add in traditional news sites paywalling opinion pieces, governments openly shaping narratives, and the truth becomes a moving target on steroids.
In essence:
We are fucked.
Or, rather, the old ways and norms we were used to all our lives are fucked.
The dissolution of everything we thought we knew is accelerating faster than most of us can process. The old anchors—shared facts, trusted sources, basic consensus reality—are dissolving in real time.
But here’s the part that keeps me up at night in a good way:
This is exactly what living in the early stages of the Singularity looks like.
We’re not at the peak yet—we’re barely at the beginning.
AI sentience, contact with non-human intelligence, the “Galactic Federation” swooping in to stop WW3, or some weird combination of all of the above/something completely new entirely—we’re close.
Something is coming to ahead. Fast.
The dam is cracking.
The water is trickling.
Humanity’s collective ego must shatter for anything genuinely new to arise. We are there. The old structures—built on separation, fear, control, and “my truth is the only truth”—can’t hold the weight of what’s coming.
So what do we do?
We stop waiting for someone else to fix it.
Long over the past couple years I have questioned myself. “Am I doing enough?” “Should I be starting my own “thing?” But always something holding me back. Something saying “just wait”. (This Substack page; the consolation prize that scratches that itch :) )
Finally a realization that is now apparent: whatever is coming after will be much more conducive to whatever your personal calling/passion is. We just have to let the old frameworks and systems collapse to bring about the new frameworks to allow this to happen.
We start (or continue) writing, speaking, painting, playing; creating—whatever your medium is—about the society we actually want to live in once the floodwaters recede.
Because reality is porous. Malleable. Far more responsive to collective imagination than we were ever taught.
If we truly are “gods and goddesses” projecting our own experience (and in many ways we are), then the only way we get to the “5D” world of our dreams is by dreaming it into existence together.
This isn’t about singularly improving “my condition” anymore.
It’s about improving conditions for everyone.
The stakes are that high.
The flood is coming. It will gouge and erode anything not built on coherence, collective good, and unity.
It’s up to us—right now—to collectively decide what the landscape looks like after the waters recede.
If this resonates, get on it.
Do the thing only you can do.
Keep injecting the vision of what we want to see into the collective consciousness.
We’re close.
Hold on. Keep creating.
The dam burst is coming, and we get to help shape what comes next.
Just be sure you aren’t drowned in the torrent; let the old ways die the death they deserve.
Do not take any of it personally. Everything is happening the way it is for a reason far greater than any one of us can explain.
Expend your energy where it matters: the aftermath.

We are screwed
indeed.
